Challenge

The challenge was to create a fully executable campaign at all levels; in-store and with media, both traditional and social media outlets to communicate avocado’s health, versatility and taste profile messaging.

Strategy and Tactics

FCC developed an integrated marketing and communications campaign to create awareness and increase sales for Avocados from Mexico by creating a brand ambassador to be used throughout all campaign tactics to communicate the brand key messages at multiple points of contact (radio, print, TV, Internet, In-store, blogs, Twitter, Facebook and a consumer/media event).

Results

The measurable results were impressive for a 3 month campaign:

  • TV reach: 3 mil impressions
  • Radio reach: 1 mil impressions
  • Print reach: 10 mil impressions
  • Online reach: 6 mil impressions
  • Number of unique website visits 10,110
  • Number of views for Telenovela ; over 1000
  • Over 200n in-store demos were executed in the GTA
  • An average increase in sales of 38%
  • Captured over 3000 followers on Twitter and fans on Facebook
  • CPRS “BEST IN SHOW” Campaign of the Year!
