Blueberry Mint Julep
According to the Derby Museum, Mint Julep became Churchill Down's signature drink in 1938 when it was served in souvenir glasses for 75 cents. Clearly this tradition is a timeless one – last year an estimated 120,000 mint juleps were enjoyed during the Derby! Jazz up this classic with sweet, antioxidant rich blueberries, pour into a chilled julep cup, and let the games begin.
